The Lord Mayor’s Show

Watch the newly elected Lord Mayor of London make his way from the City to Westminster to swear loyalty to the Crown. Take to the banks of the Thames as the flotilla makes its way towards St. Katherine’s docks. Watch the procession proceed to the Royal Courts and then marvel at the fireworks between Waterloo and Blackfriars Bridges. A great day of family fun!

Being a Man: Poetry Workshop with Kayo Chingoyni

What does it mean to be a man in 2017? The Southbank Centre poses the question and fosters dialogue by hosting a series of talks and discussions on the subject. Join poet Kayo Chingoyni for a more artistic take on the question, exploring the possibilities of the poem-as-letter by discussing works ranging from rap icon Nas to the neo-romantic poet WS Graham.
