In this unique exhibition, the Royal Academy presents Matisse’s personal collection of objects. The artist was inspired by items coming from disparate parts of the world, exposing him to new ways of portraying emotion and form. The objects unveil some of the inspiration behind his paintings, sculptures, and drawings.
