Based between London and Delhi, photographer Stuart Freedman's work has been featured in global publications such as Life, Geo, Time, Der Spiegel, Newsweek and The Sunday Times Magazine.
Growing up in East London during the 1970s, Stuart’s imagination was gripped by the politics of the time, and work by contemporary documentary photographers such as W Eugene Smith, Mary Ellen Mark, William Albert Allard inspired a career that is still blossoming 25 years later.
Covering stories from Haiti to Afghanistan, Stuart’s work has been recognised through numerous awards, including Amnesty International, Pictures of the Year (POYi), The World Sports Photo Award, The Royal Photographic Society, The Association of Photographers (AOP) and the World Press Masterclass.Explore: #SideStoryStuart
