Edy Ferguson is a professional artist with a graduate degree in Fine Arts. She has worked extensively within the gallery scene around the world (London, Athens, Vienna, New York), as well as in historical and contemporary art museums. Through her work as an artist, an art advisor, studio manager and assistant to Jim Dine, she developed a broad grasp of how the art market functions in both North America and Europe. Her broad exposure to the art world has given her incredible knowledge of artistic techniques and art history.
As an artist, Edy Ferguson has explored a number of issues that are at the core of the current artistic debate. Her freedom to employ a wide array of media, as well as her stance towards performance, make for a body of work that is challenging, creative, all-inclusive and engaging. Edy’s ability to understand the ideas and intentions of exhibited artists will allow guests to see and understand works from a new perspective and with greater insight.
"Our insider was extremely knowledgeable - an artist in her own right - and was able to artfully give us her insider's perspective of the art world. We thoroughly enjoyed her narrative and her company."
